As is evident from the latest figures from Blizzard, the number of World of Warcraft subscriptions has fallen to a six-year record low. Currently, there are 7.7 million active accounts.
According to a publication of the latest figures from Activision-Blizzard, the number of active subscriptions to the online role-playing game is World of Warcraft fallen to a six-year record low of 7.7 million. Thus, the player numbers are so low last seen in 2006. Since the beginning of 2013, therefore about 1.3 million more subscribers have dropped.
At its peak in 2010, World of Warcraft was able to record more than 12 million active accounts. The last expansion pack Mists of Pandaria appeared in September 2012. Whether Blizzard will announce on our own BlizzCon show in November a new addon is still open.
