Sonic Boom: Animated TV Series Announced

The blue hedgehog Sonic creates it back on the TV screens, because SEGA has the animated television series Sonic Boom announced, which will be broadcast for the first time in the fall of 2014, at least in the U.S.. When the series comes to us currently is not fixed yet.

Fans of the blue hedgehog's probably waiting on Sonic Lost World, 18 October 2013, published for the Wii U and the 3DS, but there is news about the rapid heroes because, as SEGA has confirmed it is working on a TV series called Sonic Boom. Thus, Sonic will first get a CGI character in a TV appearance. In the series, Sonic and his best friend Tails will compete against Dr. Eggman, with characters like Knuckles and Amy Rose as well as many familiar and new enemies will also get a look.

The series is intended to be launched in the fall of 2014, first in the Cartoon Network in the U.S. and in CANAL J and GULLI in France. After more markets are considered worldwide. So far, 52 episodes are planned, each having a length of about 11 minutes have to be. The series, however, is intended for children aged 6 to 11 years old, which is why adult gamers are probably not so much addressed.
