Currently, new achievements suggest that "Battlefield 3" will be provided shortly with new multiplayer content. An official announcement is still pending.
Apparently the guys at Crytek are currently working on new multiplayer content for our own shooter "Battlefield 3". This is suggested by at least new achievements towards that turn their round through the vastness of the web for a few hours.
Should this prove to be true, then the next download package is to provide "Battlefield 3" the following new content.
